What We Have Been Up To

I have been very slack of late and have not blogged for about 3 weeks. So here is what I have been up to. On the weekend of Jan 10th all of us siblings plus partners and children spent a day 4wdriving on Bribie. The weather was so nice and the water was just right not too hot or cold. We even managed to get Byron in the water however Cadence was not as keen. We christened the shades that we got for xmas and enjoyed each other's company for the weekend. The next two weeks were spent spending my last few days with my precious children as the holidays were ending and work was due to start. Byron started back at daycare in the kindy room 3 days a week which he loves and Cadence started in the babies room. Cadence absolutely loves daycare and is worn out by the time she gets home. The other two days a week are spent with Grandma and Grandad down at Alexandra Hills. On these days I feel like I don't get to see them as they leave with Jeff at 4:45am and don't get home until after 5:00pm that night and they go to bed not long after dinner and a bath. Those early mornings are tough on them however I just can't afford 5 days a week daycare for them which is $650 a week, $1300 a fortnight and $2600 a month which is more than the house repayments ridiculous if you ask me. Well this weekend has been spent on writing budgets, schedules, Job lists, school work and a little trip to go and get a car that we have to borrow while the Lancer gets fixed!!!!!!!. The funny thing is it's a manual and I have not driven one for about 5 years. Well I hope you all enjoy the public holiday and have a great first week back.
